Langwies mountain inn Casanna-Grünsee

No matter whether you choose a two-day tour (Langwies to Klosters -> stage 35) or a day tour: in any case you should definitely plan a break in the Mountain inn Casanna in the ski house. Even in winter, the ski house with overnight accommodation is accessible and offers an absolute adventure (also no electricity available) as well as rest and relaxation. For little money you stay overnight with your paw incl. very fine 4-course dinner and rich breakfast. The mountain inn is also accessible with a driving permit (CHF 10.-), but only with 4x4 drive.

The tour from Langwies leads you through the Sapünersteg/Wiswald and up to the Feindei Alpa along the Fondeier Bach. With a wonderful panorama of the surrounding mountains, the trail then leads you to the Casanna ski lodge. If you want to continue directly to the Grünsee , don't turn left, but orientate yourself towards the Bergdörfli Strassberg. As we are accompanied by a lot of marmots, our dogs are on a leash during the whole tour. The path leads us further past various alps, where we then arrive at our destination on the Durannapass, the Grünsee. The lake invites with warm temperatures to swim, however, because here already the autumn is to be felt, only our dogs enjoy the refreshment.

From here the high trail would lead further to Klosters or to the Fideriser Heuberge . But we are looking forward to the hotpot fun in the Casanna with the fine dinner and make our way back on the same way.

A wonderful place, which can also be reached in winter with snowshoe tours.
